Privacy policy

Who this covers

QuickText Solutions sets up automatic text message replies for local service businesses. This policy explains what information we collect from business owners who buy the service, and from the people who call those businesses and receive a reply text.

What we collect from business owners

When you sign up we collect your name, business name, business address, business phone number, email address, mobile number, mobile carrier and federal tax identification number. The tax identification number and business details are required by the phone carriers before they will approve business text messaging. We also keep billing records held by our payment processor.

What we collect from callers

When someone calls a client business and the call is not answered, we receive the caller phone number and the time of the call so that an automatic reply can be sent. If the caller replies, we process the content of that message so it can be delivered to the business owner. We do not sell caller phone numbers or message content, and we do not use them for marketing.

How message data is used

Message data is used only to deliver the service: sending the reply, routing responses to the business owner, and troubleshooting delivery problems. Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with the messaging and telephone providers who carry the messages, strictly so the messages can be delivered.

Opting out

Anyone receiving messages can reply STOP at any time to stop further messages from that business, or HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies and depends on how often the business misses a call from that number.

Keeping and deleting information

We keep client account records for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet tax and carrier record keeping requirements. Message logs are kept only as long as needed to run and support the service. A business owner can ask us to delete their account information at any time by contacting us through the form on our home page, and we will do so except where we are required to keep records.

Security

Information is held with the messaging platform and payment processor we use to run the service, and access is limited to the operator of QuickText Solutions. No system is perfectly secure, so we do not promise absolute security, but we do not keep information we do not need.
